Packing and Stacking by chlorinebeach
Today I made a big long list of all the things I am going to try + cram into my suitcase, and it seems like they may actually all fit! Of course, in the image above I forgot to include jewelry, makeup, and sweaters, but here is my list as it stands:
-4 Tights/10 Socks
-Undergarments
-2 Pants
-2 Skirts
-1 Dress
-1 Sweatpants
-7 Long-sleeve shirts
-7 Short-Sleeve shirts
-3 Sweaters
-Sneakers
-Black Boots
-Character Shoes
-Bathing Suit
-2 Scarf
-1 Hat
-1 Gloves
-1 Jacket
...in addition to accesories/makeup, if I can cram it in.
I've been doing my research and it seems like the weather over there is like a moderate, wet New York early winter day- so I don't feel the need to bring my longest coat. I can layer up and hope that I know how to survive the damp, since from the blogs I've been reading, Britons tend to look down on sweaty, over-dressed foreigners (who wouldn't?).
Once I get there, in addition to getting a vat of shampoo, soap, etc., I'm going to try + snag
-Nail Varnish
-Bracelets/accesories
-an all-purpose handbag
-Sandals (in the warmer weather, if I need them)
I'll be doing another post later on the journaling/contact end of things I intend to bring (much more interesting than it sounds, I swear!), but I'll leave you with this for now.
And of course, any opinions on if I'm missing anything you think essential would be welcome!
